Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked for us We brought home a 14 week puppy who had never been in a house, but immediately thought it was the bathroom. We would walk him and walk him only to come in the house and have him do his thing. Bought this the second day home with him and sprayed the yard. Immediately we saw results. Because of the fine misty spray that ended up all over me and the dog, however, I suggest pouring a little in a small cup and scattering it over the grass where you want your dog to go. That worked much better. My only problem is that last night I grabbed it instead of the spray to prevent him from chewing on the furniture. (He things anything wooden is a chew toy!) Now the smell from the fine mist is all through the house. We've been trying and trying to get it out and it still stinks. So, word to the wise. Don't spray it! Pour it only and keep it away from anything else so you don't accidentally grab it and do the stupid thing I did!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product This product absolutely does not work. It smells foul and my puppy now avoids the area it is sprayed. It has made toilet training even harder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifesaver! My 18 week old puppy was impossible to toilet train! A week of using this and he's going on his pads exactly where I want him to. the smell isn't as bad as I thought it would be! I find it goes away after a while, it's just the initial spray. This has fixed so much frustration for us and a big problem! Thankyou natures miracle! I know there's negative reviews but try it for yourself before you judge!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AWFUL!! Save your money!! If I could give this zero stars, I would. This stuff smells disgusting. I could smell it as soon as I opened the box it was shipped in! There is no way I would use this in my house if I were using training pads. I used it once outside just to try it and it didn't work. For some reason, I didn't throw it out. I wish I would have!! Tonight, my daughter thought it was the anti-chew spray that we have (in a similar bottle) and accidentally sprayed it on our wooden bench (that goes to our dining set). Our house reeks of urine. I've tried bleach, Lysol, and natures miracle no more marking spray to get it out. I've sprayed air freshener, lit a candle, nothing is working. I have no idea how I am going to get this smell out of my house. This stuff is AWFUL!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY THIS!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful smell I can't get rid of. I purchased this to help with training my male dog from lifting his leg and urinating. This product smells so bad, I'm embarrassed to have anyone over. I have tried Pinesol, Lysol and vinegar to get rid of the smell. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So far, no good... I bought this today and not only does it make my apartment smell like the corner in the back alley where drunk people have peed for months/years, my puppy went everywhere but on the pad since... going to hopefully get a refund on this tomorrow...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very helpful I have had two toy poodles that were very easy to train with the natures miracle training pads. I had no trouble at all. Then they quit selling them in the stores so every pad I have tried since then is not working. So I tried this spray but they turn away from the paper instead of using it. Do you make the training pads anymore? If you do can I order them from you? They were the best training tool I had found. I really need to find those training pads. Can you help me?

I have a cat who I am trying to litter-box train. This may be a silly question since this product is for dogs, but I have to ask if it might be helpful if I sprayed it in her litterbox? I've tried everything else. Has anyone tried this product with a cat?

Asked by: mmyers
Hi mmyers. It hasn't been evaluated for use with cats so we cannot recommend you use it for that. It may help to put some of her waste in the box. Every cat is unique so also try changing types of litter and the location of the litter box. Best wishes for success in litter box training!

I bought this spray a few days ago. Our new dog is almost two y/o. I shook the spray like it says and sprayed it on the puppy pads. It was like it deterred him from going there. He's literally going everywhere else BUT there. I'm furious. What do I do?

Asked by: mbrassie
Oh no, mbrassie. We're really sorry to hear this is happening. It is important to spray just a 2-inch circle in the center of the pad. That way the scent should not be overwhelming to your puppy. You may also try setting out and untreated pad and a treated pad to see if your puppy is overly sensitive to the smell all together. If this is the case please don't hesitate to contact us for a full refund.

How often and for how long does the area need to be sprayed for inside use?

Asked by: roxie1
Hi roxie1! Apply this spray to attract your dog to areas you want them to eliminate. If your training your dog to potty indoors I recommend spraying it outside before bringing it in to prevent accidental over spray. At first spray the area daily then taper off use as your dog starts to learn. For more information email

Cambiar a español I have been using this product for 3 days, but i can't get it work, my dog don't even get close to the marking area, can you give me any tip to make it work ?

Asked by: Nicole González franco
Hi Nicole. The house-breaking spray should be used in combination with a training program to teach your puppy where to go. I would start taking your puppy out on-leash and stand in the middle of or near the spot you sprayed with this spray. After a few sessions they should associate the smell with a potty area. Could I use this for cats, to train them to use their litter boxes?

Asked by: Gemma07
We would not recommend this product for litter box training. The cat would probably find it offensive and would not use the litter box. We hope this answers your question.

Does this work teaching a dog to poop too outside?

Asked by: Sam 29
Thank you for your inquiry. This product puts down a smell that attracts dogs to 'do their business' in that area. It should help with both #1 and #2. We hope this answers your question.

Didn't read directions :( sprayed all over my house. How do I get rid of the smell n start over? Omg so dumb

Asked by: Kat7
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend treating the affected area of the carpet with our Pet Stain & Odor Remover. Use it to completely saturate the area that you treated with the House Breaking Spray. The formula needs to penetrate deep down into the carpet, so be generous with the amount you use. Next, you must allow the carpet to air dry totally naturally. This may take a long time, and we suggest keeping your pets away while it dries. Once dry, the odor will be neutralized. We hope this helps.
