Assembly Instructions:
  • Remove crate from packaging.
  • Release the side clips (2) used to keep the crate in the folded position.
  • Unzip top door opening.
  • Press down bottom bars into locked position. A “click” will indicate you have locked the bars in place. Check that both bottom bars have locked.
  • Stand to one side of the crate and grasp the two piece top bar with both hands. For protection during shipment, the top bars may be attached to the side bars with rubber bands and Styrofoam sleeves. Please remove and discard the rubber bands and Styrofoam sleeves.
  • Gradually pull the two bars upward so they join each other (be careful not to pinch your hand at the connection point).
  • Slide the closure sleeve over the connection until it is fully extended and frame is rigid (repeat the same process for the other side).
Break-down Directions:
  • Unzip top door opening.
  • Press in one of the large center release buttons located on each bottom bar and pull up. Repeat on other side.
  • Slide one of the top bar closures until connection is exposed and let bars drop. Repeat on other side.
  • Push front and back of crate together like an accordion.
  • Snap together the two side clips.
Washing Instructions:
  • Gently wipe with non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean all materials.
  • Air or line dry.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable - dog friendly and convenient We have use our 42 inch crates (x2) for both of our golden retrievers for 3+ years - we travel a lot and they have been a blessing. Recently we had the male go through TPLO surgery - stressful - and while traveling over the thanksgiving holiday while in a strange in environment with other dogs present he tore a hole in the font door screen - I have currently sewn this. For the pst 2 years I have not zipper contained them - just said "go to bed and they would stay there for the night. The crates have served us and the dogs well. If I did need to replace the front screen is that available. Or we have even spoken about buying upgrades if you make larger ones. Best product we have had for our furry family members - these are our 2 nd set of golden pairs and we love your product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is our vet's favorite carrier I've been using this carrier for my two cats for two years now. Our vet loves it because of all the openings, especially the one on the side. It's large enough so she can even do part of the exam through it. This is less stressful for the cats because they can stay in the carrier longer and feel more safe, which makes it easier to do the exam. She always comments about the great carrier we have. I find the top opening very useful for putting a cat into the carrier. Instead of trying to force my cat through the front, I can set him/her down through the top and quickly zip it up. I appreciate all the thoughtful touches such as the velcro to hold up the door flaps, the velcro flap to hold the handles together (this also provides some hand cushioning when carrying it), the zipper fasteners, and the fact that the zippers are "two-way" (this flexibility makes zipping faster if a cat is trying to escape). The only thing missing was a fastener for the zippers on the top, but I bought a small caribiner separately. The carrier has held up fine for two years of use by two cats.

We have used it to acclimate new pets, traveled in our RV and the occasional guest pet has taken advantage. Never had any problems with mechanisms. Would not use it as permanent crate, but very good supplement.

After reading reviews, it looks like this is typical for this crate. We have barely used the crate, so I was highly disappointed that when we pulled it out to use it for the 5th time, it broke. I called the number listed in the replies in the reviews and was told nothing can be done after the year warranty. Not worth the money if it will not hold up beyond 1 year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hinges not very sturdy I've had my crate for less than 2 years and it's been used less than a dozen times; I use it at agility trials for my dog, but he has a traditional crate for in the house. Its stored collapsed in a protected area when not in use, and when putting it away for the 4th time in 6 months today one of the hinges fell apart and the metal piece inside snapped. The hinge is taped together for now, but not being able to collapse the crate defeats the purpose of having a folding crate. Fabric etc is all still in great shape, at least.

Do you sell the sliding connections that hold the top bars together in the center of the frame? One has broken in half and the bars are dangling.

Is there a warranty for the crate? The front liner has come apart. It's not that old. I don't have the receipt.

There is a warranty of one year, but you do need the receipt. Receipts can often be reprinted by stores or accessed through accounts. Petsmart, Petco, Walmart and online vendors can all provide receipts/invoices. BREX

We just bought a new crate for our puppy, 10 months old, to replace the old identical one we had.  We have only put her in it 3 times and she was able to scratch her way out of the side.  Do you all offer any warrenty?

Our dog has clawed a big hole in one of the mesh sides.  Is there a repair kit available?  This thing is expensive and we don't want to throw it away and have to go back to the ugly hard kennel we used to keep him in.

How do you disassemble the crate?

Hi, Bethie May. To break down the crate, press the button on the top bars releasing the plastic brace and sliding it back. The top bars should then fall down. Then simply release the bottom locks by pressing the button at the hinge. The crate should fold up nicely for you then. We're happy to walk you through this over the phone also!
